 | Charles Kendrick Urquhart, MD, FACS - Plastic Surgery
Dr. Urquhart grew up in Birmingham, Alabama and attended Birmingham Southern College for his undergraduate education. His medical degree was obtained from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He then completed a full five year general surgery residency at The Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia and subsequently became Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery. After completing his general surgery residency, he completed a full plastic surgery residency at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga where he underwent extensive training in not only cosmetic surgery, but surgery of the hand, facial trauma, burns, and major reconstruction. He is now board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and The Southeastern Society of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons.
|  | Joel Melford Stewart, MD - Plastic Surgery
Dr. Stewart is a native of Wedowee, Alabama and completed his undergraduate training at Auburn University. He then completed medical school and a full five year general surgery residency at the University of Alabama School of Medicine and University hospitals. Thereafter, he completed a two year fellowship in plastic surgery at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana where he received training in all aspects of facial and body aesthetic surgery as well as extensive experience in all forms of reconstructive surgery, hand surgery, and laser applications. He is now board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. His areas of interest include cosmetic and reconstructive nose surgery, facial rejuvenation, and breast reconstruction.
